About Me

My name is Ken Braddy and I believe in God’s ability to bring about spiritual transformation in the lives of people through the study of His Word in Bible study groups. We are better together!

MY MISSION

I began this blog in 2011 to encourage and equip pastors, church staff, and group leaders. It doesn’t matter when or where your group meets, or what you call your groups ministry – this blog exists to serve you.

ABOUT ME

LifeWay’s headquarters in downtown Nashville, TN

I am the Director of Sunday School for Lifeway Christian Resources.  I also manage the work of the editorial teams that create all of the ongoing Bible studies that Lifeway produces for  adults, such as Bible Studies For Life, Explore The Bible, MasterWork, The Gospel Project, YOU, and more. Through my work at Lifeway, and the hard work of the men and women on our team, we have the privilege of serving the Bible study needs of approximately 2.5-3 million adults each week.

I travel and train on the topics of Sunday school, groups, and church leadership. Through my blog, God has allowed me to train, coach, and consult many churches and church leaders.

AUTHOR

I have co-authored numerous books on Sunday School/groups ministry and contributed chapters to other books on Sunday school, small groups, and leadership. You can view my books here.

I have written dozens of leadership articles for all of Lifeway’s major lines of Bible study curriculum. In addition, I have crafted customized articles for Sunday School Leader Magazine, Facts & Trends Magazine, Deacon Magazine, Open Windows devotional, and Stand Firm devotional for men. I also have also created Bible studies at smallgroup.com.

CHURCH LEADER

I provided leadership as the Groups Pastor at a new church startup in Texas. The church began with 44 people in Bible study on launch Sunday. 10 years later it had grown to over 2,500 members.

I served my second church for 8 years before moving to Nashville. It was an older church whose Sunday School had experienced decline. While there, the Sunday School was reorganized, training was implemented, new groups were started, and the Sunday School began to grow.

While in the Nashville area, I have served on a church staff as the groups pastor. Working with the pastor to start new groups, begin a new member’s class, and start a second hour of Sunday School groups, the church became the fastest-growing Sunday School in Tennessee by percentage growth prior to COVID-19 and the shutdown we all experienced.

My wife and I have started 2 Sunday School groups recently, and we have taught 4, 6, 8, and 12-week studies at our churches.
