The same group that brought us the movies Fireproof and Facing the Giants roll out their newest film this September.  The movie is called Courageous and it centers around the lives of four police officers who each struggle to live life and lead their families.  LifeWay has partnered with Sherwood to bring the movie and Bible studies to churches this fall, and tonight we’re showing the movie to Sunday School teachers who’ve come to Ridgecrest, NC., for training this weekend.  Plan to take your family, your Sunday School class, and perhaps even talk with your pastor about renting a theater and giving tickets to prospects and spiritually lost people known by the members of your congregation.  I’ve seen the movie twice and it’s one of the most powerful films I’ve seen…an emotional roller coaster that will have you crying one moment, laughing the next, and applauding at the end.
