My name is Ken Braddy, and I believe that discipleship happens best when people are in community with one another in groups. From the very beginning of the church in Acts 2, you can see God’s plan to grow disciples through continual studying of His Word, prayer, relationships, and ministry to others.

Director of Sunday School @ Lifeway Christian Resources

I currently serve as the Director of Sunday School  for Lifeway Christian Resources. 

From 2010 through 2020 I was the managing director of Lifeway’s adult ongoing Bible studies used by 3 million adults weekly.

• Author – Creator of 13 books on group ministry (more in progress!).
• Blogger – Originator of this blog in 2010 with a singular focus on group ministry in the local church. Thousands of articles are in the searchable archive. This site was launched with Lifeway’s blessing and encouragement.
• Podcaster – Host of the Disciple-Making in Community Podcast, which focuses on group ministry in the local church.
• Writer – Recurring contributor at Lifeway Research, creating monthly articles focused on group ministry.
• Conference leader – Host of the Group Essentials Conference – a free two-day conference for pastors, discipleship pastors, and anyone responsible for the group ministry in their church.
• Trainer – Leader of hundreds of webinars, seminars, and workshops for pastors and group leaders through my work at Lifeway, and on behalf of local associations and state conventions.
• Coach – Encourager and developer of church leaders.
• Speaker – Keynote presenter and pulpit supply.
• Veteran Church Practitioner (35 years +) – Leader of group ministries at four churches over the years; two of them became the fastest-growing group ministries in Texas and Tennessee.
