Training is important, and I want you to know that the annual BACE (Baptist Association of Christian Educators) conference is only a few weeks away. I want to make you aware of all the opportunities taking place at this years conference and encourage you to attend this year’s event in Birmingham, AL. I’ll be there, and I’m looking forward to learning and relating to fellow Christian educators and church leaders. You don’t have to be Baptist to attend! This is a great training event for anyone who leads in the local church.
Here is what John McClendon, the Executive Director of BACE, would like you to know about this year’s event. He’s a dear friend, a great director, and serves his church as Minister of Education:
- We have a group discount for staff to attend. This is because we have specialty tracks available for pastors & key leaders, student, children, and family ministry leaders.
- We have an incredible line-up of breakouts for specific areas of ministry — Sunday School, Small Groups, Assimilation, and Evangelism.
- We will have a special women’s gathering on Friday morning for any ladies who attend.
All this is in addition to the keynote speaker and worship line-up featuring Daniel Im, author of the book, No Silver Bullets.
